.pattukottai prabakar (பட்டுக்கோட்டை பிரபாகர்) is a prolific writer of Tamil crime and detective fiction. He has also worked as a screenwriter in the Tamil film industry, and also for Paramapadham, the first Tamil-language "mega-serial" to be shown on Doordarshan.
First published in the 1980s, he has written hundreds of novels to date.
Prabakar's novels most commonly feature the adventures of the detective couple Bharat and Susheela, of Moonlight Agencies, and their employees Marikkozhunthu (a.k.a. Madhavi) and Raviis.jpg)
